BLUEBELL WALK

Embark on a captivating guided walk through the enchanting ancient woodlands nestled within The Silverhand Estate. BUTTERFLY I.D.

Spend a lovely two hours with our host Jenny Price, walking around Silverhand Estate learning about all the butterflies we have on site. Jenny will take you through step by step on how to use I.D. guides, how to identify butterflies, how to record findings and why Civitan science surveys like this are important.

REPTILE SURVEYING

Join Mike Phillips from the Kent Reptile and Amphibian Group as we explore the mysterious and cryptic life of Kent’s reptiles.  You will learn about the identification and ecology of British reptiles in a short classroom session before going out into the field to see some of these amazing animals in the flesh.
